Last year, 20 cities (prefectures) other than Ganzi Prefecture carried out water quality monitoring of drinking water sources in towns and villages. The monitoring results show that in the first half of last year, 88.7% of the township drinking water sources met or exceeded water quality, of which river, lake, and groundwater sources reached 95%, 74.3%, and 88.4%, respectively; In the second half of the year, 87.4% of the township drinking water sources met or outperformed the water quality, and the compliance rates for river, lake, and groundwater sources were 93.2%, 74.1%, and 83.4%, respectively.
